Care Rights in Action
Join our special event on 11 December to hear how you can use human rights in care settings. Whether you are drawing on care yourself, supporting a loved one, or working in care, the session will cover what you need to know about human rights.
We will cover:
what are human rights?
which rights are most relevant for care?
how can I use human rights in practice?
Human rights are central to care and support. Dignity, respect, autonomy and fairness may be familiar values but how do we make them a reality? The session will offer tips and tools on how to use human rights to improve day-to-day experiences of care, without the legal jargon! We’ll share some real-life examples from our advice service of how human rights can have a big impact on the ground and change lives for the better.
This free on-line session will take place on Thursday 11 December at 2pm (ending by 3.30pm). Complete the form below to secure your place, and we will follow up with details of how to join via Zoom.
