Tell us about your experience of care

Have you experienced or witnessed poor care in a care setting? For example, abuse, neglect, isolation, eviction, or issues with wellbeing and quality in a care home in the past two years?

If so, please help us by filling out a short survey about your experiences. It should take no more than 5 minutes.

Every week on our helpline we support people who encounter poor care. We talk to people who are worried about the quality of care their loved one is receiving, and people who can see problems in their own care home.

Many of them don’t know where to go to report poor care, or how to make a formal complaint.

In recent months we have been meeting with the social care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to discuss improvements to how they regulate the sector. We have been urging them to do more to tackle poor care across the sector, and we need your help to make the strongest case possible. Please complete the survey to share your experiences!

We want to hear from people living in care, relatives, friends and advocates, as well as staff working in care settings. All responses are anonymous and will be handled in line with our privacy notice. Thank you!
